 The Māori kaupapa of environmental management is long established and is holistic in it's broad sense. Kaitiaki is a way of practice which ensures peace within the environment which, in turn, prevents intrusions that bring lasting imbalances. It also guards against unsustainable practices that affect the environment. Kaitiakitanga is a broad practice which incorporates guardianship, care, and wise management of the whenua.

We practice the notion of Kaitiakitanga with our sourcing, milling, and harvesting of the forest to supply our Kauri, Totara, and other precious materials which come from the land here in Aotearoa.
